Greener Highways induction training session in the classroom
Our people

Training & Recruitment

Every operative we supply is trained in-house. That's how we guarantee contractors a reliable, professional workforce — and how we open the door to new careers in the highways industry.

How we develop our workforce

Trained to our standard, before your site

Contractors shouldn't have to train agency labour. We handle it — so the people who arrive on your project already understand what's expected of them.

In-House Training

All of our training is delivered internally and we are a Lantra approved provider. Every operative is prepared to our own standard before they set foot on a client's site — so contractors receive consistent, work-ready personnel.

Recruitment

We recruit continuously across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, screening for reliability and attitude first, then building the practical skills the highways industry needs.

Career Development

Operatives are supported to progress — from general highways labour into more skilled and supervisory roles as their experience and confidence grow.

Safety Standards

Safe working is non-negotiable. Our people are briefed on site safety, PPE, and safe conduct around live carriageways before every deployment.

Continuous Development

Training doesn't stop after induction. Operatives keep progressing through the Lantra scheme from trainee to skilled. We refresh knowledge regularly and act on client feedback so standards keep improving across the workforce.
